Accepting applications for course conversion stipends
The Affordable Course Materials Initiative (ACMI) is now accepting applications for the course conversion stipend program. Stipends support faculty to switch from textbooks and course materials costing more than $50 to low (less than $50) or no-cost quality open educational resources (OER) and/or alternative low-cost and no-cost materials. The review of submission begins on March 15th, 2025.
We are excited to announce the re-opening of the OA Fund.
The current fund will be open on a first-time, first-serve basis until the funds are depleted. There are no plans at this time for ongoing funding. Please consult the criteria located on the Open Access Fund webpage before applying.
Complete the MI ExplOER Certification modules and receive a stipend!
OU faculty who complete the online OER certificate course and schedule a follow-up meeting with the ACMI coordinator will receive a $100 stipend.
